My learned friend,
Allow me to  rectify certain flaws in your well articulated article.
- Laloo ji  is a post graduate and also possesses   a law degree.
He  was tutored by a former head of  english department .
-Sehwag like his other peers learnt his english in a language school.
I am yet to meet any  tycoon who  doesnot know english.
Most of them speak it  in international forums.Right from a marwari seth to  Tamil ,Kannada or Telugu or Mallu  business person, all understand the power of  business english.
One may like it or not but it is a necessary evil !
However, I am all against  faked accent, bombastic words and very obtuse idioms.I often  met well read  who claim to be proficient, but hardly know anything about O Henry',Saki or R.K.  Narayan.
I also disagree with  my friends that those who don't know flowery usage can never write well !
Let  me also add,if English took over us,it has much to do with our own arrogance.
It really hurts to read  third class vernacular poem, short story or novel , when our classics are being ignored.
English must be learnt to connect and upkeep dignity of our roots!
yours,
ashish dimri
